QUEENS POWER

As one of more than forty member institutions of Queens Power, New Life CDC is grateful to join voices with neighbors across Queens and work together to make our communities places where all residents can thrive. In low-income and marginalized communities that are so often under resourced, we know that there is power in the collective voice.  As we empower more of our neighbors to find their voices, we can come together to build power to demand the resources required to live with dignity and to have equal access to opportunities. 

 

Volunteers receive training and support to build skills in community listening, issue identification and action planning that will help us achieve improvements across Queens, including the specific and unique improvements we need in Elmhurst and Corona.
