SUCCESS GROUPS
In our neighborhood, talent and potential are distributed across all families, but in reality economic resources and opportunities are not.
Success Groups is an anti-poverty movement that empowers working families (51-80% AMI) to overcome economic hardship and achieve self-directed family goals. We partner with families to lead their own change by taking control of their finances, reach financial and professional goals through self organized groups and access to financial opportunities.
Success Groups cultivate supportive COMMUNITY. Small groups made up of 6 to 8 families meet together for at least 12 months to collectively meet financial and professional goals and overcome challenges to experience socio-economic mobility together.
Families who participate in Success Groups create OPPORTUNITY as they shape their own path toward. We invest in families trusting in their own strengths, abilities and dreams. Families who are the strongest fit for the program have some sources of stable income, are comfortable sharing their achievements and challenges in a group, are not experiencing a major family crisis and have specific financial and professional goals. They chart their own progress and we provide access to financial resources towards their goals.
How does it work?

Small groups made up of 6 to 8 families gather monthly over a 1 year period to collectively meet financial and professional goals.

Each family receives access to monthly financial opportunities.

After 3 months, you can apply to access Investment funds which include The Family Investment Fund & The Community Investment Fund.

Allow families to have choice and control (through unrestricted direct investments) over their lives

Access to expertise, referrals and support of broader network of Success Group families and alumni.
